I am sorry but thats false. They would have to boost or cheat to get back to positive.
The reason they glitched in the first place was because they sucked so bad that it would take ten years to get to the highest prestige.
And to anyone who says "I was good at the game. I was at a 3.4 KD and 99 percent WL ratio."
Got proof ??? Cause I only see a KD ratio of .00000
